These Terms govern your use of ManentCode (the "Service"), available at manentcode.com. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. This is an MVP draft and will be updated before public launch.
1. The Service
ManentCode lets you generate QR codes. Static QR codes (URL, WhatsApp, Pix) encode your data directly and work on their own. Dynamic codes point to a short link we host, so you can edit the destination after printing and see scan analytics.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for your account and credentials, and for the activity under it. You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for anything prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy — including phishing, malware, or illegal destinations.
4. Your codes and content
You own your destinations and content. You grant us the limited right to host and serve the redirect so your codes resolve. You are responsible for the legality of where your codes point.
5. The "never dies" promise
Static codes are self-contained and work as long as their destination exists. For dynamic codes, your subscription pays for the power layer — editing, creating new codes, and fresh analytics — not for the code to stay alive. If you cancel or downgrade, your existing codes keep resolving (frozen at their last destination). The only exception is a code disabled for legal or abuse reasons (see Section 7).
6. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly, with no annual lock-in, in US dollars, through a third-party Merchant of Record that handles payment and invoicing. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and removes the power layer, but your codes keep resolving.
7. Suspension and takedown
We may disable a code that violates these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, or that is subject to a valid legal request. A disabled code shows a neutral page rather than resolving. This is the single exception to the promise in Section 5.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
