Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026 · Draft — pending legal review.

Because a QR code can outlive the moment it was printed, we're strict about where codes point. This policy lists what's not allowed. It is an MVP draft and will be reviewed before public launch.

You may not use ManentCode for

  • Phishing or fraud — impersonating others or stealing credentials/payment data.
  • Malware — distributing viruses, trojans, or harmful code.
  • Illegal content or activity under the laws that apply to you or your audience.
  • Deceptive redirects — pointing a code at something materially different from what you advertise.
  • Spam or large-scale unsolicited messaging.
  • Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Content that is exploitative or harmful, especially to minors.

Enforcement

If a code violates this policy or applicable law, we may disable it. A disabled code shows a neutral page rather than resolving. This is the single exception to our promise that codes never die — and we log these actions.

Reporting abuse

See a ManentCode QR being misused? Tell us at abuse@manentcode.com with the link or code and we'll investigate.
